Now that our 30 Days of Giving Thanks to God has come to an end, what will you be doing every day to stay in the Word? I plan to be listening and reading along with the Dwell app and the 4 themes of Advent: Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. There are readings for every day along with a prayer. Each reading is about 5 minutes. You might want to listen to it in the morning and the evening.
Or maybe you just want to read something. Another daily Advent reading can be found on here. (Note: This and other daily devotional readings can also be found on the YouVersion app.)
For additional ideas and resources to go the Dwelling in the Word page in our church app.
The main thing is to find a way to constantly be in the Word so that you are always being reminded of the goodness of the Lord and your calling in Christ. -- Randy Todd

Ladies, please read this message from Frank Kuchar:
I received a call last week from Darrell McCullum who used to attend WW with his wife Sharon, asking for help. He is asking for a couple of women to help Sharon, who is a life-long member of the church and now has dementia, once or twice a month for just a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. Darrell has his own one-man pool service business during the week and while he's at work he has paid sitters to stay with Sharon during the day and he then takes care of her in the evenings and weekends. He would like to have a couple come and take her to the mall just to walk around and maybe get a bite to eat at the food court to give him a brief respite and get her out of the house a little bit. Sharon is completely ambulatory and does not require a cane, walker or any other assistance in walking. Ideally, if there were several who could team up and take turns it wouldn't be a very frequent outing for any one individual. If you would be willing to be part of a team to help with this, please contact me (Frank Kuchar) and I'll fill you in on the details and help arrange a schedule. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
